KALBLANKE HILL

LADERA DE KALBLANKE is a typical house in the area, which is more than 100 years old, and was originally intended as a farmhouse. Its name comes from its location next to the Calblanque Natural Park and reserve.

The original walls are made of stone of generous thickness, but only the windows and doors can be seen. We assume that it was removed from the quarry located near it. Later, more energy efficient building materials were added to the primitive ones and in 2018 we began the restoration project to realize our dream of a rural house.

Previously, it had three chimneys, an oven and the aforementioned cistern with sufficient capacity to withstand the driest summers, typical of the area, both for the inhabitants and for the animals.

At present it consists of two rooms with the necessary comforts to be able to enjoy a vacation in a privileged area near the sea, the mountains and fishing villages such as Cabo de Palos where we can enjoy its gastronomy and dream beaches.
